Construction Electrician – NOC 72200 Full Time NEW

Vancan Electric LTD, located in Aldergrove, British Colombia, requires an experienced full-time Construction Electrician. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Experience and Skills Required: At least 2 years to less than 3 years experience in the field

Work Conditions : Candidates must be able to work outdoors, at heights and confined spaces. Physically demanding work requiring attention to detail

Work settings : Construction; Service; Various locations; Civil (road and bridge construction, etc.); Installation

Equipment : Generators; Conventional electrical devices; High voltage equipment; Hand tools

Personal Suitability : It is essential for candidates to be client focused, flexible, organized and a team player with good judgment and efficient interpersonal skills

Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate completion is required

Language : English

Job Duties: Install electrical controls and panel boxes; Splice, join and connect wires; Troubleshoot and isolate faults; Connect power to audio and visual equipment; Install surface mount and/or overhead cables; Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems; Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs; Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures; Conduct preventive maintenance programs; Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications;

Wages: $36.60 per hour; working 35 hours per week (mornings, day, evening, night, weekend).
