Nanny Full Time NEW

In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for our family of 3 children, ages 5, 2 and a baby. $20.85-$23.00 per hour for a 30 hour work week, salary depends on experience. Overtime may be required from 45-48 hours and paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on Saturday & Sunday. 6 months of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Job hours are 8:00am-4:00. Mid-day break. Job located in Midtown, Toronto, ON. (Avenue&Eglinton). English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employer’s home.

Responsibilities include:

Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence.
Bathe, dress, plan, cook meals and feed children.
Light housekeeping for children.
Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed.
Diapering and toilet training for the 2 year old and baby.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
Instruct children in personal hygiene.
Tend to the emotional wellbeing of children and support their social development.
Discipline children according to the methods requested.
Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading, playdates and outings. Accompany to school, appointments and outings.
Good communication and decision-making skills are essential.
