Overview

Language Required: English
Education:

• No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience:

• 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting:

• Food service establishment

• Coffee shop / restaurant / concession

• Fast food and on-site customer service

• Multiple locations

Responsibilities

Tasks:

• Establish work methods and schedules

• Supervise food prep staff and portioning

• Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety

• Estimate ingredients and supply needs

• Hire and manage food service staff

• Ensure food and service quality standards

• Prepare budgets and cost estimates

• Address customer concerns

• Maintain records (inventory, sales, repairs, wastage)

• Prepare and submit reports

Supervision:

• 16–20 people

• Food service counter attendants and food preparers
