Job Overview

Blue Sky Family Care is hiring Child and Youth Workers to support individuals in a group home setting in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. This role involves implementing behaviour management programs, assisting clients with daily activities, and providing crisis intervention. Candidates should have strong communication skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Experience an asset.

• On site only (no remote work option).

Responsibilities

• Appraise clients’ needs or eligibility for services.

• Develop, coordinate, and implement community service delivery.

• Provide suicide and crisis intervention.

• Resolve conflict situations.

• Supervise group home and halfway house residents.

• Implement behaviour management programs.

• Liaise with social service agencies and healthcare providers.

• Assist clients with special needs.

• Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.

Credentials

• First Aid Certificate required.
