Sign inWe are seeking an experienced cafeteria manager to direct, plan and oversee daily operations at our on-site location in Vancouver. The successful candidate will manage staff, support sales, resolve operational issues and contribute to the development and promotion of new food products
Location: Mackenzie Street, Vancouver, BC V6N 1G8
Workplace: On site
Salary: $38.40 hourly / 30 hours per week
Employment type: Term or contract, full time
Schedule: Early morning, morning, day and weekend shifts
Start date: As early as December 3, 2026

Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Culinary arts/chef training. Secondary diploma in Business Administration will be considered an asset.
Experience
2 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Work Location
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Operations & Management
Plan, organize, and evaluate daily cafeteria operations.
Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the budget.
Organize and maintain inventory.
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and supplies.
Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
Ensure health and safety regulations, as well as provincial/territorial liquor legislation, are strictly followed.
Supervise, recruit, train, and set schedules for a team of 5 to 10 staff members.
Monitor staff performance and instruct team members.
Provide customer service, address complaints or concerns, and manage events.
