The caregiver will work in two different home/locations: the Primary location taking care of one child is; Langford Lake Road, Langford, BC ,V9B 0L9 and secondary location taking care of the second child is at Lawndale Avenue, Victoria, BC ,V8S 4C9
Work location: employers private home
Salary: $23.00 hourly
Working Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week, split between the two employers.
Daily schedule: A typical workday run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; however, the schedule may vary depending on operational needs. Employee is subject to rotating days off and may be required to adjust hours in accordance with employer needs.
Days off: One day off per week
Terms of employment: contract of 2 years and Full time

Education: minimum of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Experience: minimum of 3 years to less than 5 years
Work setting: Employer’s home: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities and duties:
Change diapers
Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Prepare infants and children for rest periods
Supervise and care for children
Tend to emotional well-being of children

Emergency child care first aid and CPR
CPR Certificate
