Job Overview

South Camp Enterprises is seeking Automotive Mechanics in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. This role involves inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining automotive systems, ensuring mechanical units meet manufacturer specifications, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.

• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.

• Repair or replace mechanical units or components.

• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications.

• Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.

• Perform scheduled maintenance service.

• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.

• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.

• Provide customer service.

Requirements

Education:

• Secondary school graduation certificate

Experience:

• 3 to less than 5 years in automotive mechanics

Credentials:

• Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification

Language:

• English

Work Environment:

• On site in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut

• Relocation costs covered by employer
