Nunavut Excavating is hiring Heavy Equipment Mechanics in Iqaluit, NU. Diagnose and repair heavy machinery, perform routine maintenance, and ensure all equipment functions to manufacturers’ standards. On-site, full-time role with multiple vacancies.

Responsibilities
Tasks:

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions

• Diagnose faults using computerized/testing equipment

• Adjust and repair or replace defective parts

• Test repaired equipment for proper performance

• Clean, lubricate, and conduct maintenance

• Service attachments and working tools

Security and safety:

• Criminal record check
