Alberta Tree Farms is hiring multiple Nursery Labourers in Aldersyde, AB. Work outdoors planting, watering, weeding, transplanting, and maintaining crops. Full-time, on-site position with housing options and training provided.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Budding trees

• Clean the crops

• Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards

• Cut horticultural crops

• Harvest seedlings

• Mixing fertilizer

• Seed cutting

• Tie and secure plants

• Weeding

• Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides

• Mix and prepare soils

• Pot and re-pot plants

• Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings

• Apply fertilizers

• Assist in grafting activities

• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens

• Clean work area
